Angela Evelyn Bassett has been an American actress since late 1980s. Angela Evelyn is an American actor. Bassett grew up at Winston-Salem North Carolina, raised by an aunt who lived in New York New York. Her mother split with her father when she was about five. Her younger sister later moved from the city of St. Petersburg Florida with their mother. Bassett decided to be an actress after she saw the play Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck, starring James Earl Jones. She went to Yale University New Haven Connecticut receiving a bachelor's degree (1980) with a major in African American studies and a master's degree (1983) from the Yale School of Drama. Courtney B. Vance met her at Yale, and in 1997 they got married. Qualification: B.A. degree in African-American studies, 1980. Masters of Fine Arts degree from the Yale School of Drama School: Jordan Park Elementary School Disston Middle School (seventh grade) Azalea Middle School (eighth and ninth grade) Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett is currently working on one of the leading roles as Ramonda in the action movie i.e. Black Panther Wakanda forever 2022.
